  Just make sure you are fully conversant with your application and the facts associated with it (esp. In regards to fees). One overlooked the Duty fees and assumed it wasn't paid for when I moved up here from NSW....It was quite evident I did when I produced the old Qld rego papers 2 years after my move... Lucky I was on the ball.

  A painless experience. This is the QT I usually attend as they are fast and professional. Coffee shop directly next door too.

  Only came here because it was much closer than travelling to Chermside or Strathpine. All of the younger girls have the 'butter wouldn't melt in their mouth' expression written all over their happy and energetic dials. No genuine customer service interest or skills whatsoever... It's as if your nothing but an inconvenience to them. Some of the older ones are no better either.

  worst driving instructors in Brisbane. They made me read a list of statements one of them being, "the instructor is legally not allowed to mislead you". This is not true for the wankers at Carseldine. Will purposefully take you to stop signs obstructed by large trucks or trees and will fail you for the most obscene offences like "didn't use blinker", and will tell you that "you're a liar" whenever you try to defend yourself.

  We had a situation where our son was failed on his drivers test when there was an incident with another vehicle during his test. We were able to query the result and asked for a review. The Head Examiner, Geoff, was very pleasant and professional to deal with. After a week, the original decision was revised. Bronwyn at the Carseldine centre did all the final processing and was very helpful. Overall, a tricky situation but resolved in a calm and reasonable manner to everyone's satisfaction. Our son now has his licence and is very happy. As a tip, do your research, prepare your case properly, be patient and be persistent, understand they are people doing their job just like all of us.
